To walk on a mountain

Is poetry, not straitened by

Man’s vanity

To feel the fresh breeze

Blow is heaven, not frozen by

Terror’s chains

To taste the raindrops

Cleansing the tongue is lush

A lover’s embrace

To see wild grandeur

Stunning the mind in wonder

Nature’s film flows

To laugh with the sun

Raised on hope’s vast balloon

While earth’s songs trill

To dance on this land

Becalmed by beauty

Your love, my spur.
