Airborne

The air we breathe
on the peak
is like none other,
and the visions
we see,
unfurl with radiance –
wonder to behold.

I drink everything in,
greedy, full of need;
purified yearning –
like this love, floating
here to there.

  1. Reminds me of a time I went hiking, but it wasn’t nearly as sweet as this, with someone beloved to share the view. =)

  2. Thank you. Walking/hiking is wonderful isn’t it? I always feel walking is like love, in the sense that it makes the world a more colourful and expansive place.
