Homage

What is your hair?
A river of peace
A tower of silk
A path of wonder
A stream of stars.

What are your eyes?
Orbs of delight
Jewels of joy
Windows of hope
A cradle of light.

What is your body?
A map of splendour
A text to be read
A mountain of dew
An ocean of fire.

What is your voice?
A song of laughter
A shower of pearls
An arrow of passion
A channel of love.

What is your touch?
A fount of energy
A canopy of comfort
A blaze of words
A glint of mint.

My Love

I love you more than all the wonders that light up the night sky.
I love you with a passion that burns
my very core.
You are my light, my darkness,
my sweat, my tears.
I love you like a tiger in heat,
An animal lust covered in silk.
You are my milk, my water,
my nourishment, my skin.
I love every inch of you
Bathed in sunlight and sex.
On the shores of silence and peace
I find your fingers outstretched,
All your natural gifts unfurled,
Uncoiled in warm temptation;
Carrying the green delight of days,
Dancing through pain, into a verdant realm.
I love you with vulnerable hands –
Your hair, your eyes, your breasts,
your spring,
Your laughter, your touch, your voice,  your gaze.
Time cannot blunt this ardent appetite,
Like a perpetual flame it burns,
Burnished by the glow of your
radiant mind.
I love you near and afar,
my imperishable star.

Parts of Speech

You are the light in every verb.
You give meaning to every noun.
To adjectives you give the gift of flight,
And you gratify adverbs graciously.
Conjunctions show connection, your forte.
Prepositioning you is a blazing thrill.
There is no need to pause when all is a wow,
Magic how you and I transforms into we,
The numinous is now.

Vignette

Two spirits, snapped in time.
Laughter flowing; currents alive.
Souls rhyming with sweet accord.
Sorrows unlived, joy to be caught.
Always joy to be caught.

Two bodies breathing fire;
Leaning together,
Drawn by a hungry force.
Awakened to gratitude,
The flush of hopefulness.

Two minds in unison,
Discoursing with wild abandon.
Hours unable to wither
This picture of contentment;
A canvas of light.
