Homage

What is your hair?
A river of peace
A tower of silk
A path of wonder
A stream of stars.

What are your eyes?
Orbs of delight
Jewels of joy
Windows of hope
A cradle of light.

What is your body?
A map of splendour
A text to be read
A mountain of dew
An ocean of fire.

What is your voice?
A song of laughter
A shower of pearls
An arrow of passion
A channel of love.

What is your touch?
A fount of energy
A canopy of comfort
A blaze of words
A glint of mint.

Vignette

Two spirits, snapped in time.
Laughter flowing; currents alive.
Souls rhyming with sweet accord.
Sorrows unlived, joy to be caught.
Always joy to be caught.

Two bodies breathing fire;
Leaning together,
Drawn by a hungry force.
Awakened to gratitude,
The flush of hopefulness.

Two minds in unison,
Discoursing with wild abandon.
Hours unable to wither
This picture of contentment;
A canvas of light.

Like A Rock

Like a rock is this love,
Washed daily
By a sea of desire,
Our dreams mingled
In a riotous foam.

I gaze without shame
At your naked form,
Rising clear
Onto the sandy shore.

And I pinch myself
Grateful that you came,
A diving spirit,
Glistening and golden,
Giving with grace
Modesty untamed.

Ecstasy

Catch this kiss as it flies,
truth melted in surprise;
Lifted by laughter’s wings,
ecstasy always sings.

Held by a soft embrace,
sighs fold in tender grace;
What flickers through the night
is you and your luscious light.

Day comes with eager feet,
a landscape in which to greet –
displacing heavy air,
your form gleams everywhere.

Touch

You come to me in dreams,
a light that always gleams;
On every path I walk,
ensorcelled by your talk.

You come to me in mind,
a spell that gushes kind;
Greening my arid heart,
from touch do fountains start.

You come to me in need,
stating a sacred creed;
I read what you convey,
a beacon come what may.

Only You

Only your light to stave off the darkness
only your grace to cover the vastness;
Only your touch to soften the pain
only your laughter that falls like rain;
Only your words pregnant with meaning
only your love to which I’m leaning.

There is only you to see the night through,
the song of your body keeping me true.

Coupling

Let us dance
You and I,
while the moon
floats
above the sea.

Let us kiss
You and I,
while the trees
hug
the holy breeze.

Let us sing
You and I,
while the wind
strokes
our naked minds.

Let us talk
You and I,
while the night
breathes
its tender spell.

Let us love
You and I,
while the sun
lights
this zealous fire.

Let us spell
You and I,
while the sand
flows
through hot hands.
