Finally

My love will come and hold me
without questions or doubt, tenderly.
She will soothe and speak freely
beyond the reef of greed in a clement sea
where wine and flowers swim peacefully.
My love will withstand iniquity
and rise above time’s piercing plea
and travel on the plane of liberty.
She will spring with abundant glee,
my love, and undress with wild esprit.

Daffodils

Flowers of brightness

Radiating steadfast grace –

What charm, what charm.

Even Though

Even though
              I haven’t
Seen you
              For what feels
Like an age
              All my thoughts
They fly
               Like dancing stars
In a burning rage.

Even though
                Distance cleaves
In fiendish fright
                I often dream
Of simply being
                The two of us
Walking earthstruck
                Threaded by
Sunlight.

Even though
                 Years have passed
Swallowed in reverie
                  A vision hums
Wedded to brightness
                  Blessed
                                Blessed
                                            Blessed
Drunk in lovers’ light.

Summer

Sometimes it happens.
Love falls on the senses,
Cleansing like summer rain,
And the world bursts anew.

Star

Deep within
Like a dancing star,
You exploded into
My solitary life.

For when days
Seem dark and drear,
There you shimmer
Ablaze and clear.
