Gravity

I
  fall
       into
             your
                     laughter
over
       and
              over

A lake of rippling calm.

This Morning

This morning the sun crashed
through the window
bathing my sea of dreams
in dazzling charm.

I woke with your name
dancing on my mind.
All day happiness fluttered
like carefree leaves

until I set sail once more
on night’s broad road
seeking your hungry smile.

Face

Words hold me in their thrall

a charm that cannot pall,

what lives is love and grace

wisdom etched on your face.

I write from distant lands

dreaming fluttering hands,

while you feast from life’s plate

my soul shall not abate.

These lines reveal a song

that cancel every wrong,

how dear you are to me

I spell so you can see.

Name

I say your name

Again and again

In the great outdoors

Lilting letters echoing

Off the trees and the moors

Stilled into silence

I note a salient truth

That rearranged

Your name proclaims

A charm that sings faith
