Shall We?

Shall we love each other as long as we live?
Shall we repent and always forgive?
Shall we laugh and cry as minutes fly?
Shall we never say goodbye?
Shall we look into one another’s eyes?
Shall we hug the daily surprise?
Shall we speak words soft and sweet?
Shall we welcome the sacred treat?
Shall we meditate upon all the beauty?
Shall we hold the flame with duty?
Shall we kiss away the sorrows?
Shall we travel all the morrows?
Shall we sit in the morning sun?
Shall we seize and keep it fun?
Shall we praise what’s to come?
Shall we listen to the calming hum?
Shall we chime in the rhyming hours?
Shall we sing as fondness flowers?
Shall we drink from the cup of mirth?
Shall we give joy on this earth?
Shall we reside in desire?
Shall we build a lasting fire?

Daffodils

Flowers of brightness

Radiating steadfast grace –

What charm, what charm.

Valentine

Happy valentine’s
All you lovers and ravers
Saints and sinners
Dancers and chancers
Seekers and suckers
Possessed and dispossessed
Pristine and threadbare
Sane and insane
Tangled in the mundane
Lifted to a lighted plane.

Happy valentine’s
Love-blessed
Sun-kissed
Moonstruck
Earthbound
Run aground
Spring flecked.
Happy valentine’s
Lovelorn
Lovetorn
Love-worn
Safe as snails
In the grassy bourne.

Happy valentine’s
Bleed the “cri de coeur”
Bridging the blur
A thread of love
Unwinding desire.
Happy valentine’s
Time eats everything up
Get it while you live
Hug it in springtime
In summertime
And every other time
On hot nights
On cold nights
Feel it
See it
Hold it
Inhale
Fragrance unbound.

Love Cycle

Drinking deep
Sorrow transforms into joy
A sudden surprise

A sudden surprise
Hearing beautiful words
Coming from your lips

Coming from your lips
Enduring mysteries
Flooding love’s landscape.

Through The Cracks

On the peaks
At twilight,
Silence falls
Through the cracks.

Nothing stirs
Save Nature’s cries;
Pure it is
To taste the thrill.

This ancient world
Woven with myths;
The trodden earth,
A sponge of hope.

Coming down
Free and fearless,
The message calls –
Marvels last.

My Love

I love you more than all the wonders that light up the night sky.
I love you with a passion that burns
my very core.
You are my light, my darkness,
my sweat, my tears.
I love you like a tiger in heat,
An animal lust covered in silk.
You are my milk, my water,
my nourishment, my skin.
I love every inch of you
Bathed in sunlight and sex.
On the shores of silence and peace
I find your fingers outstretched,
All your natural gifts unfurled,
Uncoiled in warm temptation;
Carrying the green delight of days,
Dancing through pain, into a verdant realm.
I love you with vulnerable hands –
Your hair, your eyes, your breasts,
your spring,
Your laughter, your touch, your voice,  your gaze.
Time cannot blunt this ardent appetite,
Like a perpetual flame it burns,
Burnished by the glow of your
radiant mind.
I love you near and afar,
my imperishable star.

Tenderness

Tenderness is the spark that underpins affection.
Tenderness is the touch that banishes early-morning fears.
Tenderness is a light kindling the dark.
Tenderness is spooning through thick and thin.
Tenderness is the roar of the whispering word.
Tenderness is a reservoir forever replenished.
Tenderness is learning that love is constant.
Tenderness is a wave uplifting the heart.
Tenderness is holding on amidst the terror.
Tenderness flies on sun’s bright wings.
Tenderness glows in the moon’s deep smile.
Tenderness dances in water’s bright torrent.
Tenderness is exquisite.
Tenderness is vital.
Tenderness is inimitable.
Tenderness is eternal.
