Crossing The Bridge

Reaching you

Is like

Crossing a bridge

Your body made

Of durable

Wood

Hardened by love

Tempered by

Gentleness.

Touching you

Is like

Crossing a bridge

Seeing the shapes

Words make

Emboldened

By fiery

Kisses.

Entering you

Is like

Crossing a bridge

Your breasts singing

Smooth as rocks

Washed by water

Our breaths

Mingled in

One spice.

Loving is

A tender bridge

Arching the space

Of solitary

Living.

Exchange

I give you
My heart
And you give
Me yours,
We eat
In the heat;
Love feeds
The need.

I give you
My body
And you give
Me yours,
We feast
Like beasts;
Love spins
The skin.

In the Shadow

In the shadow of your eye

I see your smile

In the shadow of your smile

I taste your beauty

In the shadow of your beauty

Your innocence blooms

In the shadow of your innocence

I sense your smell

In the shadow of your smell

I touch your presence

In the shadow of your presence

I hear your laughter

In the shadow of your laughter

I feel your kindness

In the shadow of your kindness

I kiss your light

In the shadow of your light

I sift your gift.

Awakening

Beneath the pregnant moon

I give you some words

And you give me

Your love

Free as the dove.

All night we sing

With our bodies,

While cats prowl

The lighted gardens

And owls keep sentry,

Over melting embraces

Skinning the night.

Rising from

Love’s heady

Enchantment,

The new dawn

Dances clear

And flowers

Glint without

Fear.

I Love The Way You Dance

It’s true I love the way you dance;

The grace and poise blows me away,

Let’s not leave anything to chance.

I may often sit in a trance

But don’t let this get in the way,

It’s true I love the way you dance.

And your steps do beauty enhance,

Clotting what I would like to say;

Let’s not leave anything to chance.

Even beyond the furtive glance

Thoughts unspoken always betray;

It’s true, I love the way you dance.

How can I give wind to this stance?

These lines blow and dare to convey,

Let’s not leave anything to chance.

If you think this poem a prance

I hope the clear gist may outweigh;

It’s true, I love the way you dance

So why leave anything to chance?

Trinities

Just you, the sky

And some liquor

Abundance flows

Like a river

Just you, the sun

And the flowers

Beauty falls

Like a shower

Just you, the sea

And fresh tea

Contentment spreads

Like the dew

Just you, the hills

And the views

Desire fills

Like a pool

Just you, kisses

And this heart

Ecstasy pours

In a flood.

Just you, bed

And love’s match

Fire flames

In a torrent

Just you, words

And a song

Gratitude floats

On an ocean.

Teacher

You teach me the meaning of love

I imagine you by my side

When I walk here and there

Your image dances in my mind

And when I close

My eyes at night

Sorrows are pierced

By the lance of

Light.
