Desire

I want to plant laughter
                all over your body
I want to explore you
                for the riches you possess.
I want to touch you
                beneath starlight and moonlight
I want to read you
                with feverish intent.
I want to give you
                my tongue and my tears
I want our selves
                never to relent.
I want to taste you
                our longings undressed
I want to kiss you
                 and never repent.
I want to feel you
                 moving within
I want us to wonder
                            skin to skin.

Sacred

I rest between your thighs
Drinking from your cup;
My tongue tracing your name,
The letters heading up.

I kiss your quivering breasts
Soft as velvet spread,
Fingers locked together,
Tenderness undead.

I love your liquid eyes,
Smiles rippling the brim,
A sea wherein fears melt,
Splendour stays undimmed.

I suck with tears of joy,
Your lips breathing fire;
As evening teases dawn,
The spinning of desire.

I marvel at this life,
Selves distinct as wine;
Blending separate notes,
Wonder is we, not mine.

January Light

Thrilled by the winter light,
I walk miles and miles
Immersed in heavenly sights
Coming from all angles

Into my quivering self.
Bright and bitter is this world,
But look beyond the mask
And the joy surging unfurled.

This is the truth to kiss and drink,
A tonic to banish the blues;
In your arms I relish and think,
Skin on skin, sailing through.

What is…

What is life without the meeting of minds?
A cheerless chasm.

What is life without the touch of laughter?
An echo with no soul.

What is life without the linking of limbs?
Empty beyond words.

What is life without the flame of love?
Hollow. Hollow. Hollow.

Even When I Stumble

Even when I stumble
Through the shrouded murk,
This heart flowers.
Seizing verdant laughter,
What gifts you possess.

Afloat

Nurtured by experience,
the self flowers and flows
in fluvial dreams.

Watered in the mind’s expanse,
the self swells
with sensual surprise.

Feeding on earthy riches,
the self rises
to taste fresh realms.

Lapping up ecstatic tears,
the self swims
in love’s deep sea.

Stilled by waves of wonder,
the self crests
buoyant depths.

The Way

20140104-235441.jpg

Walking is the way

to shape and create

who we are,

where we are going;

sharpened by miles,

a boon to cherish.

Walking is the way

to dissolve fears,

strengthening

the mind,

cleansing channels,

a gift to savour.

Walking is the way

day and night,

renewing

jaded spirits,

forging fresh

impressions.

Walking is the way

to gather ourselves,

where metaphors

sparkle,

in which the soul

may sway.

Walking is the way

wherein beauty

may burn.

Memories return;

walking is the way

for now and always.
