L’amour

Love is the only thing one should live for.
Love is the only thing one should consider.
Love is the pill that soothes ancient sorrows.
Love is a wave that carries us to new worlds.
Love is warmth for the jaded soul.
Love is a cloak to be worn in all seasons.
Love is light,  illuminating the darkness.
Love is touch, linking heart to heart.
Love is an ocean, wherein happiness may flow.
Love is the sun, the moon, the wind, the stars.
Love is a force composed of parts.

Ritual

Every day I sing anew

Awash in a field of dew
Stilled by excessive glee.
Every day I walk and gaze
Soaked in a buoyant haze
Feeding the flame of liberty.
Every day I wonder aloud
At life that flares so proud
Swelling the eager esprit.

Flight

My soul flies towards you
Come rain or wind or sun.
Melting beyond the blue,
My soul flies towards you,
Fresh as the morning dew.
See our clothes are undone!
My soul flies towards you
Come rain or wind or sun.

Even When I Stumble

Even when I stumble
Through the shrouded murk,
This heart flowers.
Seizing verdant laughter,
What gifts you possess.

Like A Rock

Like a rock is this love,
Washed daily
By a sea of desire,
Our dreams mingled
In a riotous foam.

I gaze without shame
At your naked form,
Rising clear
Onto the sandy shore.

And I pinch myself
Grateful that you came,
A diving spirit,
Glistening and golden,
Giving with grace
Modesty untamed.

Hand in Hand

Silence bathes this love
While your presence shines,
Pure as the silver stream,
Words drift earth to sky.

Taste them before they die,
Say it is not a dream,
Soul to sense enshrines,
Peace shall reign above.

Afloat

Nurtured by experience,
the self flowers and flows
in fluvial dreams.

Watered in the mind’s expanse,
the self swells
with sensual surprise.

Feeding on earthy riches,
the self rises
to taste fresh realms.

Lapping up ecstatic tears,
the self swims
in love’s deep sea.

Stilled by waves of wonder,
the self crests
buoyant depths.
