Walk With Me

Walk with me
In sun and in rain
Walk with me
Through the pain.

Walk with me
Across the fields
Walk with me
Where darkness yields.

Walk with me
Over the hills
Walk with me
To the silent thrills.

Walk with me
To the sultry sea
Walk with me
Naked and carefree.

Walk with me
Avenues unwind
Walk with be
Unclothe your mind.

Walk with me
Beyond the page
Walk with me
Love and engage.

Walk with me
Peel your eyes
Walk with me
Sudden surprise.

Walk with me
On this earth
Walk with me
Give birth to mirth.

Walk with me
From beach to beach
Walk with me
The stars we’ll reach.

Walk with me
Where silence calls
Walk with me
To the roaring falls.

Walk with me
Without a care
Walk with me
Pleasures share.

Walk with me
Immersed in this
Walk with me
Touch and kiss

Walk with me
Lighten your load
Walk with me
On the open road

Walk with me
Caress the flow
Walk with me
Memories glow.

Walk with me
Day and night
Walk with me
Unveil your light.

Ritual

Every day I sing anew

Awash in a field of dew
Stilled by excessive glee.
Every day I walk and gaze
Soaked in a buoyant haze
Feeding the flame of liberty.
Every day I wonder aloud
At life that flares so proud
Swelling the eager esprit.

River

Laughter, talk, a golden summer.
Enraptured in a radiant moment.
Sweet innocence captured in time,
The print of our days waiting to be inked.
A line invisible and intimate,
With sudden delight fate blooms again.
Tugging heartstrings, love ties the thread,
Blending the present to an unwritten future.
Hunger throbs on the enduring path.

Rich Feelings

On every hill I walk
There course many thoughts;
Springing to life,
Ablaze and urgent,
Fragrance unbound.

Borne by the breeze
Passion cries her song,
Giving sweet breath;
In nature’s creatures
Rich feelings resound.

Even Though

Even though
you are not here,
everywhere sings
and the tune
rings clear.

Even though
words may fail,
meaning spills
in every detail.

Even though
hours pass by,
yearning burns
as sorrows die.

Even though
torment strikes,
your presence
blooms on
bliss-strewn hikes.

Even though
vision is torn,
beauty breathes
forever reborn.

Even though
the heart shall weep,
wonderment swells,
knowing love
runs deep.

A Flaneur’s Manifesto

Just walking, with no definite plan

free and easy on the pulsing streets,

not hurrying or burdened by feats;

Drinking deep and absorbing the sights

that peal from old buildings and new heights;

Suddenly the world is tinged with rhyme

as if undressed for the first time.

Just walking, with no definite plan

flowing current you can channel;

Letting the feet think, wonders travel

from toe to toe, nerve to nerve, cell to cell,

therapy that soothes with a kindly spell

of marvels, life and great vitality,

wind in the bones and the feeling to be.

Just walking with no definite plan

is a kind of magic that grows and grows

if we live long – to walk is to know,

in tune with the world’s songs, open gate

gleaning impressions while we create;

Flaneur, walker, dreamer, dancer, lover –

wayfaring is the way to uncover.
